He really is so damn cute... David's colleagues had a welcome party for us at a Chinese food restaurant last night. There were two other little boys at dinner the same age. One of them was so well behaved, he just sat on his little chair with his bib and his suspenders and ate and quietly played with his truck. He did not move out of his little seat the entire dinner... and he was not strapped in... just sat there. He looked like an econ professor. Carlos, on the other hand, looked like he had a few mojitos before he came. He was a wild man throughout the dinner and threw up at the end. A true New Orleans kid.
He came home one day and said, "Carlos Kutz, HERE!" and raised his hand really high. When we went to school the next morning we asked if they take attendance and explained what he did. Apparently, they have a morning circle where they say the child's name and sing a song with the nameand the child says "Here!" in English when they call the name. He does this in the video... then becomes enthralled with his image (he says "otro Carlos" when he sees himself in the monitor).
